Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. This is a place for me to share my journey of faith and life as a stay-at-home mom. My prayer is to inspire and encourage others and record those precious moments of my son's childhood.

Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil
I love the opportunities out there for bloggers. Lately, I've been looking for various "Affiliate" relationships where you can try out a product for free and evaluate it on your blog.
I stumbled upon a blog where someone tried out coconut oil from Tropical Traditions so I looked into it. I was so excited to find out they would give me a free 32-ounce container and said I could review it on my blog. I received it right away and have been enjoying it ever since. They have an informative video on YouTube where I learned that they make this coconut oil by hand, not machine. It was interesting to see the variety of products they have developed that are available on their website. Everything from free range eggs, grass-fed beef, to soaps, lotions and hair products. Another interesting part of the website I found was the founder's testimony of how he came to know the Lord after he survived a car accident that should have killed him.
This was only the third container of coconut oil I'd ever tried, and I was very pleased. It has a very full coconut flavor and it has been fun to cook with too. I've used it to saute green beans, cook up a chicken breast, enjoyed it in my oatmeal and my favorite: coconut oil and peanut butter on toast. I also discovered a ton of great recipes on their free recipe site too.
Thank you Tropical Traditions for your generous offer and allowing me to enjoy some delicious and nutritious coconut oil!
**Disclaimer: Tropical Traditions provided me with a free sample of this product to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review or sponsor a product giveaway in return for a free product.
Thanks for visiting!

I haven't used coconut oil before, but my husband said a lot of the guys at his work cook with it so we may need to try it out for ourselves too!
This has nothing to do with coconut oil except that, if this is the same Tracey, I have also gone "coconuts", "bananas" etc. looking for the mp3 of "I want a dog" by Neko Case - the song to the awesome book of the same name.... go to http://www.loudtronix.me/search/i%2Bwant%2Ba%2Bdog -watch the video or click on mp3 for download and smile. enjoy.
Brigitte - Let me know if you try it out!! I love it.
Anon. - Thanks so much for the link! I had been searching like crazy for that mp3 and now I just converted it and have it in my Windows Music player! Thanks again :)
Knowing the founder's testimony encourages me to try this particular brand of coconut oil. Plus I'm a fan of all things coconut!
Coconut and Oatmeal...sounds good. I love the smell of coconut! :)
